Our mission is to build partnerships among youth, police, and the community through athletic, educational, and recreational activities designed to encourage and develop good citizenship and reduce juvenile delinquency.
On Saturday, August 28, 2010 White Center PAL Boxing will host a boxing tournament at Evergreen High School. Amateur boxers from all over King County are invited to pre-register for this special event. All boxers must be pre-registered with the LBC—no day-of bout registration. The show will be limited to twenty bouts so get your lists in early! Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children ten and under, and $5 for boxers with pass books. Proceeds from this event will benefit the White Center PAL Boxing Program.

On Tuesday, June 1, over 230 guests attended the Greater King County Police Activities League Inaugural “Be a PAL” Luncheon at the Golf Club at Newcastle. Thanks to our generous event sponsors, table captains, and individual PAL supporters the luncheon raised over $48,000 for GKCPAL youth programming.

The Hendrix Music Academy and the Greater King County Police Activities League (GKCPAL) are presenting the 1st Inaugural Jimi Hendrix Memorial Benefit Concert for the community, at Jimi Hendrix Park in Seattle; on the 40th anniversary of the Rock legend's passing: September 18, 2010, to raise money for at-risk youth music programs at the Hendrix Music Academy!

Greater King County Police Activities League (GKC PAL) is pleased to announce that it has received funding to establish a mentoring program from the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention. The National Association of Police Athletic/Activities Leagues, Inc. is providing program awards to 135 PAL Chapters and GKC PAL is pleased to have been selected as one of the grant recipients for this exciting program. GKC PAL staff will participate in a two-day national training for the development and implementation of the National PAL's new Mentoring Program this April.
